HERO TIME
OKAY
OKAY

because otherwise, i am worried i will forget this shit.

there was: evan, colin, lianna, neil, andrew, ben, kristina, and myself. eight total. jamie was going to come, but he got himself all kinds of drunk and couldn’t drive. all of us met up at the timmy’s on campus, rendez-vousing convoy-style in the parking lot. squealed real loud, made our way outside then walked over to lianna’s car, which was parked outside hub. andrew & neil trying to piggyback me at once for EPIC FAIL.

split into the two cars, blasted the ol’ pod-pod and stuck our heads out the window as we cruised down saskatchewan drive. once we turned into my street to pick up kristina, neil dashed out of the backseat and raced colin’s car down the hill, ambushed her as she got out the front door. the lot of us tried to make our way to connor’s hill, got lost about four hundred times, but made it eventually. horsed around at the top, before rollin’ / racing / walkin’ down. hit the park for a while. my tummy was certainly grumbles and so i stuck to the swings, chatting with ben & k-town. gave evan my headband, which he wore for a while. andrew got up after a while and pushed me until the whole swingset creaked.

most of us got up on the roof of the community league, though i never made it, which was too bad. next time!!! found a hockeystick but left it behind. eventually, shuffled over to the muttart, where we sat on the back ledge for a while, watching the lights downtown. climbed a tree, checked out the pope’s statue… thing. assigned seven dwarf status to everyone, evan boastin’ snow white.

walked back up to the cars. colin rescued lianna’s coat like a gentleman.

“he’s like a man in shining armor!”
“don’t you mean ‘knight’?”
“that guy has not been knighted. i think i would know.”

drove over to lianna’s birthday bridge and spit over the side, listening for the slightest impact. neil making EVERYTHING into an innuendo. imitating walking sprites faced with the challenges of guns, doors, shifting angles. tried to slide down a railing, but kept jumping too! far! finally got a piggyback of my own. sort of napped on andrew, ha! got a glimpse of his clown later.

gave hugs n’ forehead kisses to those who would receive them. drove home with the girls. discused shows and adventures to come. came home to find cecily waiting for us on the sidewalk. wandered inside, stopping in the kitchen for a cup of juice, before collapsing, exhausted, into bed.
